A San Francisco native of Italian background, Natalie is the author of The Girl Who Said No, the true story of Franca Viola, an eighteen-year-old woman who made history in 1966 as one of the first “#MeToo” heroines of modern times.

Natalie’s writings have been anthologized in Italy, A Love Story and in four Travelers’ Tales volumes, three of which were awarded gold and silver prizes by Bay Area Travel Writers. She has also penned two illustrated children’s books and edited a third.

Natalie has worked as an editor and proofreader for Burning Books, as a columnist for The Berkeley Monthly, and as a freelance contributor to the San Francisco Chronicle. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
